Couple from Raigad held in 6cr GST fraud
Mumbai: State cell department’s GST cell has arrested a couple from Khalapur in Raigad in an alleged Rs 6.4 crore scam. Accused Kamlesh and Bhavna Jain are directors of Monopoly Innovation private limited located in Khalapur. Their lawyer Ravi Hirani, however, submitted that tax credit is of Rs 5 crore and case is bailable. Additional chief metropolitan magistrate Pravin Modi remanded the couple to judicial custody till April 29.
